Over the past few days, our remaining partner schools have closed for the Summer holidays and almost all our students have now safely travelled home with big smiles on their faces to their family and friends. When our students are in the UK, they are part of the Pippa’s family and we wish everyone a safe and happy holiday reunited with loved ones back home. It has been our pleasure to support your students through the past academic year, helping them to make the most of their UK education and celebrating in their success.

The Summer term has been a busy one for the Pippa’s Guardians team where our focus on delivering the best Guardianship service has been central to some key events. I am proud to share our news and hope you enjoy reading our success stories.

In May, the whole Pippa’s team attended our two-day annual conference near Cheltenham. Our investment in the training and development of the staff who look after your students is of paramount importance to us and this event provided us with an opportunity for our experienced team to focus on further enhancing their skills. Another highlight of the Summer term was our provision of student care during the half term holiday. Another highly successful Pippa’s May Half Term Study Camp provided the perfect balance of study, study skills, activities and fun for a large group of Pippa’s students. The diary blog and photos here show how productive and energising the camp was at this crucial time of the year for our students. Meanwhile, our fabulous Host Families were also entertaining our students across the UK which you can read all about here

Finally, a few weeks ago we held our first face to face ‘Welcome Event’ for new parents and students who live in Hong Kong and who will be joining Pippa’s Guardians in September 2023. We are constantly striving to better support our parents and students the best we can, and the purpose of the event was to better prepare our new customers for what lies ahead when embarking on their UK education. We plan to build on the success of the event in the future and provide much needed guidance and reassurance to families who trust Pippa’s to care for their child.
